You're right. Sometimes people are nice because they are meek.

This issue has been raised before. It's not always easy or cowardly to avoid conflict, especially when you or someone or something you care about has been offended. It takes courage , discipline, & poise to handle a situation with kindness. Often it's more effective at getting a point across. Responding to cruelty in kind rarely teaches a lesson.


Boldly stating an opinion isn't boldly stating an opinion if it's done in another "voice" or identity. It's just dishing it out without being willing to take credit or consequence for one's actions. It's cowardly & irresponsible.It's the LIT equivalent of a hit & run driver.
