I had a dream last night that finally convinced me that I've become hopelessly addicted to this board (all of you 12 steppers know that admitting your problem is the first step, right?)

Anyway, in my dream I was reading an article (sad, huh? We med students even read in our dreams...) that was detailing the most popular "handles" for internet bulletin boards. According to this "article", the most popular handle for internet sex bulletin boards was...

"Lovely Latina" <openly hoping that that love goddess rewards me handsomely for my unconscious flattery> hehe

Also (and much more disturbingly, I think), the article also claimed that the most popular handle on Country & Western bulletin boards (is there even such a thing?) is...

"Smokestack".

No need to say it... I've already paged Neuro and Psych for immediate consults.

I'm just curious when the rest of you knew you were hooked...

Well, I became addicted to the stories long before I became a member of the board. I snuck into a thread one day, lost my virginity to MM and LL, and the rest is history. I guess I just got sucked in without even realizing it.

The first time was when I stayed up WAY past my logical bedtime on a work night catching up on bb posts. Then I rearranged my RL schedule one day to make sure I had time for the bb, and I knew I was hooked for sure.

Here's another example- I've been out of town for several weeks. Today I have wash to do, groceries to get, mail to read, etc. And what have I done today? Yup, spent most of the time catching up with email and the LIT bb!

The first time I came here I read only stories, slowly built up to the BB and that was it, HOOKED.

I have made fantastic friends from this site that I would do almost anything for (sleeping with another woman is out, sorry).

I have just got back after losing my computer for awhile and I have to say that it was this site I missed the most. I love it and everyone on the BB

I think it was a bit different for me. I came here, read a few stories and thought they were shit so I decided to write one myself and send it in. I then noticed the BB and thought that I would try and get feedback for the story which I did.
I am in a particularily addictive phase at the moment (I spent at least 5 hours on the boards yesterday) but I think that's because I don't want my job anymore and this is probably a good way of getting fired.

When did I _know_ I was hooked? Yesterday. I had a parade to be in and a million things to do and no time at all to check the BB. I was going crazy and almost killed my roomate when she was on the computer all night last night. I went to bed early just so that I could get up before her so I could get on. That's pretty pathetic, eh?

I was hooked as soon as I saw one of the threads I started "set the suitcase on fire" as somebody called the old icon for a thread with more than twenty replies. It made me feel good to know that other people felt strongly enough to respond to something I started.

Hello All! Myself there are only 2 things I do in the morning,before I turn on Literotica.One is start a pot of coffee,and then empty the bladder.When I was working,I only had about an hour to flick threw the BB's before I went to work.But now I'm off work untill the end of August,so I can spend most of the morning in the BB's.I really like some of the post,then again there are some that are pretty stupid.Thanks for letting me share. When I realised that instead of just logging on to check my e-mails in the morning, I was spending more time checking to posts on the BB!

Hooked the Very First Time!!!!

I've been hooked since I was here day one. I fell across teh site when looking for a free erotic story site. Then checked out the BB & that was it. I started sending in stories & they got posted and I couldn't leave!!!!!

My daily routine is to come home from work, kiss hubbie, go to the bathroom to take out my contacts & log on.... dinner usually waits until 8pm cuz I am attached to my keyboard...
