When did Literotica start posting bestiality?

The story The Depths up right now, unless I'm mistaken, describes the sexual penetration of a woman by a canine.

Brilliant piece of marketing...

...you're the author I take it?

:D

Literotica has the right to put up any story they like. Some people really like beastiality. If they discriminated against those with beastiality fetishes, then they would have to discriminate against BDSM, non-consent, homoerotica, toys, etc. Every fetish other than straight hetero sex would have to be eliminated. If you have an aversion to it, you don't have to read it. Ultimately, it comes down to your decision to click on that link or not. Don't put the responsibility on Literotica.

I've been here since March of '00 and in the Extreme section Lit had links to Non Consent and Bestiality...so, I'm guessing that it's been AT LEAST that long, if not longer, that they had those kinds of stories here. Hell, honestly, that's why I didn't think people would be quite so judgemental of me and cruel here since the site DID "allow" stories of that nature here. Obviously I was wrong, but ya can't be right about everything, eh? C'est la vie.

It's got 'Non-Human' in big blue writing. What did you think it was?

Long time no see, Tiggs. Hope you're well.

Not necessarily true

I disagree with your argument. A site may opt to restrict one, two, many or no themes. I belong to a listserve for erotic writers. Our webmisstress does not accept stories with beastiality, necrophilia, snuff, or underage characters. We do accept all the other kinds of stories you've mentioned. Sites are private and web masters are free to restrict, define entries as they see fit.

I populate other erotica sites and they, too, are different. It's not simply a matter of being fair to writers/readers. Web masters decide what they will or will not promote.

I agree, a reader can opt to view these stories or not. A reader may choose not to populate a site because it publishes material he finds offensive.

And non-human is not necessarily referring to animals. Many may assume this is an area for paranormal and fantastic fiction writing with demons, monsters, and the like.

Peace,

daughter

That's why Lit has two "Non Human" sections for stories. The "regular" one, that can be found on Lit's list of categories, has things like vampyres, ghosts, aliens, etc. The Extreme/Non Human section pretains to acts of bestiality.

What we really need around here is a good "Fucking with Banana Jell-O" section.

Oh goody,a section I would finally belong in. ;)

I prefer my Jello pre coital

I haven't actually looked in non-human. So I couldn't say, give you a run down on subcategories.

Yeah I'm fine. Just haven't seen you for ages. I was getting scared that you'd left me alone with the Moaning Minnie Brigade.

Banana jelly? You Freaks!

What's wrong with raspberry?

Sure. But in the past they haven't. The non-human section deals with aliens, demons, and other humanoid things. The "Extreme" section links to actual bestiality stories -- but it is a *link* to a *different site*. I merely questioned the sudden change. No need to be hostile.

For what it's worth, one of the reasons I come to this site and not others is that for the most part I know I won't get any rude surprises. I got disgusted and quit reading that story, but I'd rather not have had to deal with it at all.

So, there was no category name for the story? Was it in the new section? One thing I've noticed is that Laurel does a good job getting stories in the "right" category so to NOT "offend" anyone.

Exactly, I was talking about Literotica, not the other sites that you belong to. Literotica is public.

public

The internet is public. All sites are private. Are you referring to sites that require a fee?

This site is run and owned by Laurel and Manu. We have free access. As the operators, they dictate content. There is no quid quo pro.

And for the record, I am not arguing what should or should not be allowed. We have free choice. That works for me.

Peace,

daughter
