When Comfortably Compartmentalized Conflicting Concepts Clash

That doesn't happen in Canada or the UK. Why would it happen here?

They’re firing people now🤑!! Medical personnel are being told to pack their shit up because they refused to follow a vaccine mandate. Governor of NY went one better by refusing unemployment benefits to medical personnel that boycotted the mandate. And you believe that government rulers wouldn’t throw you off the rolls for not following orders. LMFAO Get a brain.

Getting rid of people in the health industry who don't care about health is a net positive for the entire industry.

This ^, and the fact that 94% of healthcare workers in New York ARE vaccinated makes the usual suspects look foolish........again.

The NY Post made itself look foolish as well when it proclaimed "HUNDREDS" protest vaccine mandate in Times Square.

"Hundreds"

*bigly chuckles*

:D

There was never a pandemic that could be effectually contained by everybody minding his own.

Every body minded their own business during the Spanish Flue. There was never any thought of national mandates of any kind. The flu kills 20 to 30,000 a year and flu vaccines are not mandatory and lock downs haven't been contemplated. The death rate for Covid last time I checked, last week or so, was .19% of the population, no justification for the present hysteria and totalitarianism.

That pandemic killed 25-50 million -- more than died in WWI. That state inaction is not a model to follow, even in a much less deadly pandemic like this one.

There is no "totalitarianism" in vaccine mandates.

What if they’ve had Covid?

What if they’re concerned about effects on child bearing?

What if they have religious concerns?

What if they just don’t have faith in the vaccine?

What if they believe mandates are unconstitutional?

What if they’re not willing to follow in lockstep for personal reasons?

I don't have conditions.

Why the fuck they don't care about public health isn't my problem. They have a job that involves being responsible....either do the things needed or find a new job

What if they’ve had Covid?

Then vaccination will help them not get it again.

Then they're idiots.

The influenza pandemic of 1918 and 1919 was the most deadly flu outbreak in history, killing up to 50 million people worldwide. In the United States, where it ultimately killed around 675,000 people, local governments rolled out initiatives to try to stop its spread. These varied by region, and included closing schools and places of public amusement, enforcing “no-spitting” ordinances, encouraging people to use handkerchiefs or disposable tissues and requiring people to wear masks in public.

In a free society mandates are a divisive way to conduct bidniz.

Very understandable....if you work in a field based in science and you believe in hookus pocus nonsense and especially if that outs lives in danger....you got no business being there!

In a free society, rules exist for the common good. There is no completely free world...

Right here IL74 falsely confuses "common good" with freedom.

This is a falsehood leftist regularly push.

Collectivism =/= liberalism!!!!! Quite the opposite.

Rules for thee not for me type common good. I find it quite alarming that citizens are so quick to surrender their constitutional rights and freedoms because some establishment bureaucrats want to impose their will on people, unconstitutionally I might add.

Funny, if you challenge their authoritarian rule and choose not to be part of the collective you’re an idiot, even if you have a rational reason for doing so.

We are in the throws of an American Marxist revolution. Group think over individual choice.

Drunk drivers should absolutely be able to drive drunk...obviously.

Well that's what happens when you turn a few generations over to lefty activist "educators" to be brainwashed until they are 18.

Millions of kids graduate HS every year thinking the USA is some unitary simple democracy and that there is nothing more patriotic or "American" than the hammer and sickle...... because the RW doesn't give any fucks about educating their kids.

This is their doing.

In this case, no anti-vaxxer has one.

We are in the throws of an American Marxist revolution.

Disease-containment measures have nothing to do with Marxism. Government used to quarantine typhoid patients, and not because government at that time was Marxist.

Bullshit as usual. The Covid numbers have been grossly inflated in the United States and are in the process of being corrected. I posted the current death rate in the United States.

They do when leftists politicians introduce free people to Marxist solutions.

And when the next variant appears on the screen we’ll be subjugated to more of the same shit, it’s a never ending cycle.
