I am not a general board person but I do visit now and then........My heart belongs here in the playground........If you stay a visit for awhile you will see why.......I fine the general don't let people in so easy there...........here you are like one of us from the beginning.........Also the feeling is different here it is warm there I feel a coldness.........Stay and see what I mean.

I agree Angelofsex. I have posted here and on the General Board. People welcome you here as soon as you post. I have made a few friends at the General Board but not many. I like to check out the General and How To topics because sometimes there are some really good threads for information, and I have felt that there I have had most of my intellectual stimulation on lit. On the Playground forum there is no end to the fun, and you're right there is a warmth here that is matched no where else. At times on the General threads I almost feel like an intruder when I post something, and many times it is just ignored so I don't return to the thread again.

I agree with the previous posts too.

I've tried the General Board, and while I wasn't made to feel unwelcome, I wasn't welcomed in any way either. If anything I was ignored. It just seemed a waste of time posting there.

The Playground is so different.. here people are friendly and newies are welcomed. It's become my second home, I have so many friends here, some of whom are now my real life friends as well.

I would agree in many aspects...while I didn't feel like an intruder on the gen board here there are some threads directed to posters who share a common interest as the thread starter and that automatically makes some people feel more welcome...

but I agree....the playground has a more inviting feel and it's filled with more conversation while the gen board is more topic oriented and contains more dialouge...
