Ok I need a little help with some research...

How would you describe how you or someone else you know walks? Do you/they shimmer, saunter, strut etc etc??

Do you take little steps large, steps, walk sideways?

Does your arse/ass wiggle when you walk?

Infantry quick march, head up, shoulders back, 120 steps a minute.

I'm getting old. I used to do light infantry quick march, 140 steps a minute.

hey a little humour is always good innit?

 Very much so... lmao as i picture the scenario with them walking like that to the plane. :D

It depends.

If I'm walking with a group of friends or with my kids, it's a purposeful stride. Shoulders back, head up, slower steps if needed to accommodate littler legs.

If I'm by myself or walking with my husband apparently I sway my hips more. He mentioned that to me the other day. More of a feline saunter, he decided.

So now I'm self-conscious about it.

Oooo! Very sexy Rob! ;)

I trundle. I've got short legs and a short stride and nearly everyone passes me by. But I keep going. There goes Rob on by me now!

Depends on where I am walking into LOL....
I have been told I walk like a panther, gliding almost stalking my way into a room or through a crowd... It is a crowd parting walk... that I have noticed...
Others its a normal, full swinging gait that eats up the ground, can only be accomplished in flats...
I was once compared to a dancer, dipping and weaving through the crowd as I served cocktails once upon a time...

Now... Apparently I still have that panther walk... there is very little extra motion to my hips or shoulders. Being big busted one learns to keep them from bouncy too hard.... it hurts....

ANd since, not to long ago I couldn't walk at all... HEHEHEH.... I am not complaining with all the attention I get when I am "stalking" at a dance club LOLOLOL

Changes all the time largely depending upon my mood rather than my purpose. Some days, I have a little trouble with coordination and found myself yesterday, in a very crowded pedestrian street, having to think about how to walk. Believe me, it was frightening.

I walk really slowly with a slight swagger... apart from when I get to a staircase. I don't really like stairs, so I aim to get them over and done with as quickly as possible, which leads to a two-step-at-a-time Road Runner sprint. I can't say I waste much time going down them, either, but I can only take them one step at a time.

If I'm annoyed (like in the bad old days where I'd have to break up fights in the middle of the school yard etc.) I'm nowhere near as chilled, and tend to 'stalk' towards the target as fast as I can without running.

However, I do run. If I'm late for something important, I don't give a shit where I am, or what I'm wearing - I'll do a full-on Olympic sprint.

I'm good at weaving in and out of people at high speed on busy streets, too. It's all about the hip action ;)

When I am in a good mood, its a "strut with a hint of swagger" kind of like A toned down version John Travolta in "Saturday night Fever" not quite so exaggerated but a noticeable machismo and confidence.

When I am a bit perturbed, its more of "bulling advancing on the matador" I lean forward, shoulders are back but bowed forward and I move more quickly, as if to break through whatever wall is pressed on me at the time.

And when I am mellow, just contemplating the world around me, its a slow meander, constantly scanning for a new inspiration of distraction.

I know people who waddle. And my dad runs like a duck. :D

Ahh. Green Arrow.

:rose:

I stagger in agony from a back injury sustained building a dam on a little creek yesterday while storm clouds scudded and dodged above, daring the sun's rays to battle.

I used to be a fast walker until my knees decided to go the dark side. I pretty much walk like I have a purpose and give that 'move out of my way' look.

When my legs hurt I walk like a homeless woman in shabby shoes pushing a shopping cart mumbling to herself.

Now if I do it often and skillfully enough, people may pay me to vibe them.

I only noticed lately that I walk like my dad!!

I walk like what I am..........an old lady with duff knees, stiff hips, painful lower back....and carrying far too much weight.

Not a pretty picture.

I don't walk, I waddle... I have weak ankles, and I trip easily. In order not to break anything, I walk with my feet pointing outwards, like a duck, to prevent my ankles from bending inwards and tripping me.
I once tore off a muscle from NOT doing that. I'm more careful these days.
