Is the government impeding on innovation or are these companies breaking the law?

More sleek black limousines in Boston, than ever. Big ones, small ones, classic ones, modern ones, ones that can out run and out maneuver any kidnappers.

The whole thing is rife with illegal activity. None of the drivers claim their income either.

I would not know, for sure. I am not of that milieu. But, I know a powerful, beautiful car, when I see and hear one.

Only one beautiful vintage car was in my hands, for a short while. I think that experience gave me a clue.

In the big picture, it's the future. There's your modern worker: a Uber driver ("an" Uber driver?) on Obamacare, nominally an independent contractor and free market free agent, actually reporting every change of income and status to the Feds to keep his health insurance while every fare rates his demeanour and servility level on their smartfones.

At the personal level, I find it decadent and vaguely gross, like people who drop off their laundry. When I can't get a cab, I take the train or sit on a bus, cursing, and that's how God meant it to be.

I don't think an Uber driver would ever be able to afford auto insurance.
