Whats your favorite Sci-Fi and why {yep another bobtoad tread}

I kind of like the new Andromeda Series. It has an intersting persepective of the captain and his ship with no crew getting caught on the time line of a black whole for 300 years to be brought into a future he doesnt understand and a universe that is no longer anything it once was.

I would have to say babylon 5 even thought it is offically off the air. I kinda like the new Gene Roddenberry series but so far I am having a hard time with the plots of the first few shows I have seen. I also really love StarGate SG-1 that is an original show

Babylon 5, by far. I don't get the Sci-Fi channel, but I've heard they've started showing season three there. I just like the way it was done. I liked that it had an actual storyline that went somewhere, rather than hitting the reset button after each episode.

Even though it isn't sci-fi, Buffy the Vampire Slayer's one of my favorite shows now for the same reason. Well, that and I've got a serious thing for the guy who plays Spike *drool*. Ahem, anyway. Intriguing storylines that last longer than one episode and plenty of eye candy. I'm an easy girl to please.

you are right about having a actual plot and storyline. I would have to agree with you about Buffy having a storyline, I wish I still got a station that carried the WB. damn cable operators...

Yet another Babylon Five lover here. Nevertheless, my favorite will always be the Twilight Zone - my idea of a good New Year's Eve is watching the Zone Marathon on the Sci-Fi channel.

There are some very good sci-fi shows on, but Babylon 5 is the best one ever produced. I didn't start watching untill the third season, but couldn't stop after seeing one episode.

For me it was definatly MST3K! Those guys used to always crack me up with their clever one liners. Plus, being the B-movie fan that I am, I could relate to why they picked the movies they showed. Damn I miss that show. But atleast I have tapes full of re-runs to go over again and again. heheh

I would like to add Farscape on to my list of scifi shows I really love.. Does anyone know when it is going to be back on with new shows. I also so saw one that looks interesting. The Secret Live of Jules Verne. might be pretty good.

I used to LOVE Quantum Leap when I was a kid.
Also, I've enjoyed Cleopatra 2525, Highlander: The Raven, The Stargate movie (but not the series), X-Files (both the movie and the series), MST3K (does it count? lol), and Total Recall (the movie, not the series).
