There was this little bed & breakfast place on the coast just past Kiama . The place was really run down as far as amenities were concerned , slightly manky chenille bedspreads , toilet tissue like Satan's sandpaper , lounges that any number of horrors of the years had absorbed and the appearances to match .

It takes no stretch of the imagination to classify the place as a true hole.

It was almost on the beach however and there was hot food place in walking distance that made great milkshakes and fish cocktails. The point is he really liked it , it was affordable for those days and as far as memory serves me we loved it. No doubt it was a fucking hole however.

There was this mexican restaurant near campus when I was going to college called El Azteco... It was in a basement, I could stand upright and not hit the ceiling, however I would hit my head on the cross beams if I had to walk...
