what's your dress sense like?

i have a weird dress sense. i'm aware of this.
but people often compliment my outfits.
i'm not afraid to wear what nobody else is.

a lot of 40's, 50's & 60's retro stuff, vintage and retro. thigh length sweaters worn as dresses. knee or thigh length socks. bold colours & prints. ever changing hair colour and style. i don't follow fashion and getting funny looks doesn't worry me.

i couldn't really sum up my style because it's all over the shop. every day it depends on my mood.

I'm all over the place as well.
One day, I'll be in a retro mood and wear a 50's dress with boots... the next day, I'll be slouching in Thai fisherman pants and a batik shirt, barefoot.
Lately though, I've been wearing more tailored styles of clothing - dress pants with a cinched top and a jacket, that sort of thing.
And in the last year, my hair has been almost normal
I like eclectic styles. They add interest to the world.

I wear a lot of belts, scarves and bracelets. I shun most other accessories.

I really like to be comfortable. In cooler weather, I'm all about jeans and sweaters or layered tops with boots. In the summer, I live in flowy dresses or skirts and tank tops with flip flops. I go big with my jewelry...funky, chunky rings and cuffs and bracelets, hoop or chandelier-style earrings, layered necklaces of beads or leather.

ETA: I forgot hair, too. Mine is currently auburn and mid-back length, and I've been letting it have its naturally curly way...I haven't straightened it in months. I want bangs again...longish ones.

I forgot hair! Mine is long, dark, dark red with blonde highlights. I either straighten it or leave it curly. There is no in between. I've had almost every hair color under the sun, natural and not.

I love bold colours and I like to clash them against each other or accent with other, like spring greens & purples, fuchsia pink & black, emerald greens and creams. Skirts, dresses. Big accent on shoes and accessories.

I would probably wear a 3/4 sleeve fitted T under the summer dresses, with a hippy belt, boots and a hat.
The first one is way too grey for my tastes... I like colour.

I think for girls who aren't "slim" adding things to emphasize a waist or a bust is essential.

I've seen your striptease, I know you are in great shape, I'm sure you don't need to emphasize a thing.

My daughter often says "Why do you always wear dresses and tights?". I just shrug. She's in a slouchy, pj pants and scrunched up sweats phase. Although when she does dress up, she has great style so I'm not too worried.

I get a little flak from wearing fishnets and patterned nylons a lot. Maybe it's because I work in construction but I enjoy feeling feminine.

I could do the sweater dress with some tall knee boots. The second dress is appealing too. Yesterday I wore a sundress with a cardigan and boots. Today is tight jeans and a tshirt. With boots. Pretty much if I don't have to iron it, I'll wear it. I need boots for height. And if I'm going flat, it's snow boots. I'm good with the sewing machine, sometimes I'll tailor make some blouses or dresses. The hair? Long, auburn, curly and wild most days. Straight if I want to fight the Medusa curls.
