What's with this new trend?

I've recently noticed posts from "Uregistered" immediately followed by posts from well known posters saying "Sorry that was me".

Is this a new game?

Is it a powerful encoding tool?

Are they trying to raise their post rate?

Have experienced posters suddenly developed group amnesia and forgotten how to post with their Lit name?

Tell me...what gives...?

It's happened to me a couple of times today. I turned cookies off over the weekend (I was using my sister's computer and didn't want her backtracking). Now I have to sign in each and every time I post, it's getting annoying, but I'm sure someone will eventually have the answer to get things back to normal.

Thanks mg5...

I'm fairly vague when it comes to cookies so I rarely touch them. The few times I have I had big problems trying to get back into Lit. Usually my machine foze on me and I had to switch off at the mains and go through the ScanDisk procedure 3 or 4 times...

hey

don't turn the cookies off - just go into windows explorer and go to Windows directory - then go to cookies - select all the cookies except the one called index and delete them - hard to back track after getting rid of the evidence - also - if using explorer go to tools and hit internet options - hit delete files and clear history - then using windows explorer go to directory windows to temp internet files and select all in that directory then hit delete - then go to recyle bin and empty it - all evidence is bye bye!!!

It seems to have happened to me a lot today, and I know that I was loggedin. I guess that if you go to the story area it logs you out, although at least once it did it when I know that I was loged in. It is irritating.

No, it can't increase your post totals since thos are loged against your handle.
