What's with the hurricanes?

............Alright, sinnOcent1, looks like you have to face the consequences
Pffft ... no i don't. This is merely an example of online consequences, which don't effect my butt in the way they have been known to in REAL LIFE. Regardless, whether offline or on ..... only my Master punishes me. :D

Hope you are all prepared and safe and far from the hurricane, regardless, SlvrTongueDevil ... all joking aside.

I was going to suggest we don't share any cookies with her. I have double stuffed Oreos here!
Oh, like that is REALLY going to teach me a thing or two pita .... :p No one ever shares cookies with me anyway .... something about having acted out in an unacceptable fashion, and behaving like a rude and outspoken little submissive some time ago in some other thread .... Besides, that having been said, i would steal your oreos if you were not always so nice .... and if we were allowed to keep them in the house here (Master is not allowed to eat those anymore ... says His Dr.s). But, i AM baking brownies RIGHT NOW ... with nuts ... pecans to be exact. :D

Girl I would soooo trade you my oreos for just one brownie with pecans. *drools* You could scarf down the cookies when Master isn't looking. ;)

jams a pecan sprinkled warm brownie into her cup holder thingy ... and sends it off to pita.
.... i could do that ... but He is ALWAYS looking .. says He LIKES to .... so, they will have to be invisable oreos and unscented ... or He'll KNOW ... heh

So is it the weak, feeble remnants of the hurricanes that we get here? Lately we've been having pressure vacillations, and a little rain, and every time the kiloPascals drop i get a migraine. (i used to know the threshold but it's changed). Either way it's pissing me off.

i have mini Oreo cookies around here somewhere, but no brownies. However, i also have honey roasted pumpkin seeds, roasted praline style in copper kettles, and they rock. We get them in wine country and they are sooooooo good.

[mini hijack]Does anyone know where i can download Celtic sheet music for the tin whistle (key of D)? i don't mind paying, i just can't find much here in the stores. Flute music would be okay too, they're the same key.

i can transpose, but who would want to?

A search of GOOGLE (using the key words: "tin whistle" key D celtic "free sheet music") turned out 489 results (URL of those results: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=%22tin+whistle%22+key+D+celtic+%22free+sheet+music%22&btnG=Search ).

A few samples of the pages that this search gave me:

http://www.free-scores.com/index_uk.php3

http://www.celticmusic.com/cgi-bin/~celticmusic/tunes.pl

http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/Academy/8577/Music/index.html

Of course you COULD pay, and who really ever WANTS to when they don't HAVE to?? .... AND
... the number of resulting web pages is greatly increased if you omit the word 'free' from those results. ;)

Thanks a lot, sinn0cent1. i used Yahoo and it wasn't nearly as co-operative. At least 25% of the results led me to the book i just bought! Maybe i do have to start using Google more often.

i've used both, and google is my top choice. Yahoo search is actively recently in a major competition with google. Just my opinion, but .. seeing as Yahoo at one time actually relied on google for it's search results ... and is just now getting started in providing their own where as google had a huge leading start in the game of search engine wars, i predict google will kick Yahoo's ass severly in all battles, and eventually wear the crown. ;) But i AM a bit biased in this opinion regardless of how true it may be ... i just LOVE google.

Oh, and no problem ... you're quite welcome. :)
