What's with the "greatest generation" meme?

I think the GB's current interest in the "greatest generation" stems from the Obama ad that came out a few days ago, in which a few old people make crude jokes about the election.

Is this a serious question? There was this book...

I'm aware of the phrase, but we've had three threads in the last two days referencing it from the RWCJ. One has to wonder where the marching orders came from.

The "left wing" doesn't acknowledge the "greatest generation?"

Pergy didn't mention a phrase, he mentioned a book.

Did Drudge issue a fatwa?

I don't know.

Would you please leave me alone for a few minutes?

I am not feeling very well.

Thank you.
