What's with the dots?

I noticed green dots and gray dots next to people's names when they post. What do they mean? Does green mean the person is online and gray offline?

Yup - green is online and grey offline.

Yes. Gray COULD mean offline or could mean ON Invisible...You can do that in your User Profile via your UserCP. No one but Admin and maybe mods can see you "on" at Lit if you choose.

Hmm...That's curious. All I see under your name is "In my darkest hour." Your dot was gray as i wrote this BTW.

You must mean the How To forum I was just at trying to figure out how change the skin. I tried from my control panel but it won't change. Can you see me now?

(BTW, I'm usually invisible. )

I use invisible with a grey dot... cos I like to creep up on people and shout Booo!!!

I've tried various skins, but I find the old fashioned Durex to be most comfy

I've switched it to several skins with no result. Maybe I'll restart my computer later and see if that helps. Thanks for the comments.
