What's virginity in same sex relationships?

I was talking this over with a gay male friend of mine, and he said virginity for a gay man is lost the first time you're the recipient or giver of anal sex. Pretty obvious, if you ask me. So what is it if you're a lesbian? Is it that first encounter where there's genital contact, or does there have to be penetration with some object like fingers or toys?

No particular reason I'm asking this, just curious.

well alot of people say losing your virginity is when your hymen is broken ... that can still be done with lesbian sex (you can figure out the different ways how)

however some people considor there first time with a woman is there "lesbian virginity" ... i dont think though that being a virgin or not being one is all that big a deal ... alot of girls loose there virginity by masturbating ... ive heard some guys say they wouldnt marry a girl unless they were a virgin

Well thats cuz men mostly write these things. And they want to feel like they are such the stud that they can 'convert' the lesbian to heterosexuality, (or bi-sexuality at least) or they just want to see a lot of girl-girl action.
