What's up with Baltimore?

This isn't really a personals thread, more like a night life thread. I'll be living there by the end of August. What places should I visit as a single 23 year old guy in the military stationed in Baltimore?

My East coast buddies say the "inner harbor" is good, but can someone explain ?

The inner harbor is a tourist trap in baltimore that includes an aquarium (pretty cool), science center (for kids), and a couple of shopping pavillions, as well as dozens of restaurants... good for families and probably fun the first time for anyone else. You might be more interested in the fells point area... East of the inner harbor (down fleet st. or eastern ave.)... Fells point houses most of Baltimore's clubs and bars... also many interesting little shops if you visit during the day time... South Broadway used to be home to one of the areas only Adult movie theatres although I'm not certain it is still there... Amazingly the area isn't as seedy as it sounds... located near the water, it is almost quaint...

Also there are a couple museums (walter's art gallery, baltimore museum of art, babe ruth museum, b&o railroad museum) and some points of interest like the shot tower, and betsy ross's house, and such... Of course there is a Baseball stadium and a football stadium downtown also.... All of the above are easily accesible by public transportation... Now if you have a car... well that's a different story... PM me if you want some more suggestions...
