being taken to paris for the weekend as a surprise (i didnt know until she told me that day

The ultimate was him getting himself to NYC to meet and be with me for an entire week! The week was full of wonderful surprises and beautiful gifts (flowers, music, pandas, cards, kisses, giraffes, roses, meals, drinks, loving glances and tender touches)! I'm still "recovering"!

Special to me...
He knows his voice is very comforting to me, even in my most stressful times. One of my Valentine's presents was a recording of some of his favorite music and of him reading poetry. I have never been given anything so personal, the gift really touched my heart.

hands down.. the most romantic thing
ever done for me was when I was dating this guy... and it was my birthday. He told me to come over to his place to get ready for our night out. Once I got there, he told me to get undressed and put on his robe, he then led me into his bathroom where he'd strewn rose petals all over the floor, all in the bathtub full of hot water, had placed candles all around the tub, turned on some romantic music and brought me wine & cheese as he fixed dinner.
Once out of the tub, we sat at the dinnertable. He'd prepared lobster, crab legs, rice and shrimp for dinner.
We then dressed and went out to my favorite jazz/blues club where a favorite blues band of mine was playing and drank martinis and talked with some very interesting people.
Once we got home, he led me into the bedroom, he'd spelled "Happy Birthday" on his bed with rose petals and had a present on the bed for me. When the covers were turned down, there were rose petals all between the sheets.
It was the most unbelievable night of my life.
