The tombstone thread got me to thinking about this one....

What's the best thing someone could say about you? Or what's the thing that you would most want people to recognize or remember you for?

It's an easy question for me. Honesty. I don't lie, cheat or steal. At the end of it all people can say I was a lot of things, but if they say I was honest and not a hypocrite in any way, I'd be happy.

On a side note: I fully acknowledge that this quality of honesty completely precludes me from ever running for political office.:D

I have a big cock.

Um, I mean I'm kind and sensitive to the needs of others. Yeah! That one. :)

Me? I want to be known for having a good heart. That I never do anything out of anger or personal rancour.

That I am a great mom. Nothing more then that. Just to know that I am doing a good job at raising my daughter alone.

This is a tough one for me. I'm pretty happy if someone says I've brightened up their day. That I'm a good friend and to hear that I make my parents proud.

*erm, in light of Sher's addition to the thread, i would like to now amend my earlier statement ...*

"It was so awesome how close she and Sher were...how Sher totally lavished her (platonically) with all she could. Vella was a true stalk...erm.. friend."

Yup, this is the best thing that could be said about me too.
Followed by... "She's was a great midwife. Really gave her moms the power they needed to do it themselves."

The best thing that someone could say about me after I'm gone is: "she loved."

He was a romantic. A fool perhaps, but always a romantic. He never liked to see a woman mis-treated.

If that was said about me, then all my efforts in this world would have been justly done.

I've changed my mind. Best thing anyone could say about me and what I aim for in life is: "He was a gentleman."

That I could always make them smile.
That's about the only thing I strive for. :)

Of course, once I'm gone, I just hope the people I knew remember me fondly.

"One lives in hope of becoming a memory."

Good thread. :)
