I haven't been up on my threads like in days past, whats going on with the bdsm community these days huh, catch a brother up, whats hot on the streets?

Wish I could help you out, bro... I've been back-sliding myself. Between work and family and the holiday and all, I haven't been doing much of anything BDSM related in a while.

Although the previous Thursday (week before Thanksgiving) I _did_ manage to take my girl to a new private dungeon in the area and get some decent play time in. But her banging her forehead into the cross and picking up some splinters kinda threw her outta head space and ended the scene a little early... *lol*

Sorry I can't be of more help

Splinters in the cross huh?

That sucks. Sounds negligent on the part of the dungeon....

I don't think it was negligence so much as ignorance on their part. First time they've built one, and my girl janey is probably a good bit shorter than most of the folks who've been on the cross (dungeon is owned by a Pro who just moved to the area). When her head was bending forward her forehead was actually hitting the inside of the upper arms.

After the scene I went over the cross and found several very rough spots, particularly around where the bolts had been drilled through and tightened up. I pointed them out to the Lady of the house and advised her to sand the cross and seal it, or possibly cover it in pleather (which is what was done with mine). Not only would this reduce splinters, but makes it MUCH easier to clean. Sealed wood can at least have the surfaces sterilized. *grin*

So how have you been doing?

I'm alright I suppose. This is a confusing period of my life. Much change is afoot.

Ug, talk about stress. Is it a good change or a bad change?

Eh, wot? I say, 'olmes! Will we be going up against Moriarty again?

You guys are so sweet. I picture the two of you as my parents in a parallel universe.

OMG! *LOL* Wow... while I _might_ be old enough to be your Dad (I'm 44 and I'm thinking you are in your early to mid-20's) I think gracie might be a wee bit young for the role of Marquis' Mom.... Oh, wtf? she's cute and fun, sure why not! If it's that parallel Star Trek Universe I'm going with the goatee too...

*pictures gracie in tight leather and silver, bust enhancing, barely-ass-covering "space girl" costume.... * Oh yeah! Fantasy fuel! Woo-hooo!

I always thought the sci-fi clothing was some sexy shit.

I almost busted a nut when I heard that the actress who played Seven of Nine on Voyager was being pressured into swinging by her politician husband. That is like a Marquis fantasy from start to finish right there.

Okay, I can admit this then; remember in the Voyager episode where they were morphed into a black and white, corny early sci fi televison show? Captian Janeway became this campy, over the top evil woman and I thought she was hot!

"Anyway, not much is happening out here either," says the woman who literally shredded the left hand side of her body in a horse riding incident. Except I get more knee surgery on the 5th (oh joy!).

If I remember right it's the episode "Bride of Chaotica"!

And good luck with the surgery *hugs*

Sorry to hear about your injuries. I remember the episode you're talking about.

Why do you think it is that so many straight women find Angelina Jolie so incredibly hot?
And yes, I'm one of them.

Not much BDSM here but I am wondering how your exams went?

The real exams are coming up next month. The midterms went pretty well. There were two sections, I did well on one, and not so well on the other, although it turned out that the grader fucked up so it's hard to tell would I would've gotten if the right professor was grading the test.

I gotta get back to that thread sometime, there was stuff I wanted to say there. Man, I'm mad behind on my lit.

I've noticed this too.

I think Angelina Jolie represents the ultimate femme domme, which is contrarianism no woman can resist. She is utterly confident and powerful without sacrificing a smidgen of feminine sexuality.

Angelina Jolie?

WTF is wrong with you kids?

I always hated Madonna too. They took away my dyke card over that one.

LOL As geoff said - that is sooooo not possible. I think I'm what 3 years older than you?

But thanks. *hugs*
