What's on your nightstand?

I have a clock radio, set to a *gasp* country music radio station. A lamp that I've had since I was in junior high. A book. Several hairclips.

Hmm A lamp without a lightbulb. Keep forgetting to buy them.
A clock radio without the alarm set, I always wake up before it goes off anyway. A telephone, bottle of vanilla lotion (mmmm), kleenex and a romance novel. Oh and an angel my daughter gave me.

a lamp
an alarm clock
a Bible
and whatever I happen to be currently reading ("Ten Days That Shook The World" by John Reed. Russian Revolution)

Not as much as I should....

I have a clock radio and phone on my nightstand.

The damn cat rifled through and hid my suspense novel, knocked over an ashtray and the box of tissue.

All of this within the last half hour or so!

A Clock, a lamp, 3 framed pictures, nailpolish(2 bottles), a pile of due bills ,tissues, a bong, an ashtray, a tv guide, and a pen.

Beck and I sound about right on target, cept my bong is too big to set there. It has to go on the floor, next to it and the bed.

Oh and my bills are in the bill tray.

One thing you didn't mention that I do have, is the dust that is on top of it.

a brass lamp - the touch kind - and the electricity sometimes freaks out at my house making the lamps (there's a matching one on the other nightstand, too) flicker through all three settings like lightning. Weirds me out when it does that in the middle of the night.

alarm clock - facing away from the bed cuz it's too fucking bright

a different book frequently - right now it's the newest one by Laurell K. Hamilton in her Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series, Obsidian Butterfly. Good book. (Read the whole series before jumping into this one, though.)
