Is this troll just bothering you on the board and via email? First, don't accept anyone anon feedback and just put the troll on ignore when you're on the board and delete any troll PC. That may help. By the way, how you in your area? We're getting a lot of rain in VA now and my area is under a tornado watch till 8pm. Hope all is well there. Damn what did I miss? I have to go read the poems. I am so far behind.

This sucks, of course it does, and is not right.

I remember when I came on, people thought I was this or that person in disguise, but I took it as a compliment I did not deserve because it was done in kindness (I think!) But after a while it did get kind of annoying, thinking, hey I am just me! Nothing secret!

We have all, I am sure, one time or another wondered about some new people who come in, if it is someone in drag, many times it is! I know I have been caught in my sheep clothing.... I was sure Pat was Tara when he first appeared !!!

But of course you are not anna, who would want to be? You are you! Why would you want to be anyone else?

I wasnt aware that the passion thread was a vanity thread.

I always thought of the all of a sudden thread as the anti vanity thread, going out with rollers in your hair for the world to see.

Hope things look up, it sucks, and most of us have been there and can sympathize

I took the first note as a compliment!! Anna is an awesome writer, I have admired her since she posted her first poem, Holiday, ( the first one I remember, anyway) and she had a troll say something crappy to her. I know I shoudlnt let it bother me, but it does and since I am such a big baby I dont need to be here.

1201, you are so funny, not enough brain cells, my ass, you rock as a poet, but writing like anna? well, that poem I wrote about the moon pie, I was up late, bleary eyed and it was like 3 am and I hadnt slept in two days, if thats what it takes to write like anna, I dont want it!!
okay, poeple, you know I am hysterical, you have always known it and I apologize, didnt mean to drag it in here and I am sorry.

I just cant figure out what difference it makes what name we , any of us, write under..I had several nicknames to start with because they all fit a certain mood of me, and I felt free when I wrote an normal jean, or mia when maria made me feel like everything had to be so perfect, and she knows things will never be perfect, so she lets the others write, the ones that dont care.

and catalina? well, that was a name hubby didnt know, and he had started looking for my stuff and found my author pages bookmarked and that is the ONLY reason I came on here with yet another name, I wasnot hiding from anyone here on lit, have no reason to. I learned to accept the 1 votes a while back, dont even care about that, I just liked sharing my attempts at poetry with other people who liked to do the same thing. I just didnt feel so alone, ya know?
if any thread is a vanity thread, I suppose rant threads like this one are, but wanking tree was sposed to be funny, I guess it wasnt

Why do people think that this forum is all about glamour and image? I've been welcomed here with open arms and can't thank you people enough for all the help and encouragement you've given me.
