What's in a voice?

To me, quite a bit. A great voice to me can be more of a turn on than a firm ass or nice tits. A low throaty voice for me can be very sexy. Tara Ried is a fine example. Dirty talk with that sound... oh yeah.

Accents are another great aspect. I love English or light Australian accents. Conversely, harder sounding accents like German or Russian don't work for me.

During sex, I love a verbal woman. Nothing tells you you're doing your job when she's screaming her head off. One of my fav. pornstars, Ann Marie, I could just listen to her have sex.

Have you visited the audio threads?

I think it'd be TOTALLY cool for an audio FORUM in which it was allowable to attach audio files (WAV, MP3, RAM) up to a certain size.

Here is a whiole bunch of voices, if you haven't seen (heard, I mean) them yet. A batallion of AH regulars recorded their voices a while back. :)

Actually, I just noticed that ZIP is a valid file extension for Lit-hosted uploads ... so if we zipped our audio files, we could have an audio forum right here.

Now, how does one zip a file?

Unfortunately no, but I'll take this as an invitation to do so! Any recommendations. Sadly I must hit the sack right now, but I can listen tomarrow. :)

And I'll definitely have to give that a listen too Liar~ Thanks

The site Liar referenced is the same as that referenced in the Audio threads. All the recordings are awesome.

ENJOY!

Razor-nut: Good, good thread and one that deserves attention.

I do actually have a thing for Irish accents, although I'm afraid I'm not well enough up on the different timbres to differentiate which area does it for me. The voice itself isn't that much of a priority for me (so long as her voice is higher than mine!), but I will agree with your assessment of noisy women in bed. Doesn't even have to be loquacious, just the wordless moans will do that job thankyou very much indeedy.

Here's a nice thought to end on for all the males: A woman putting her lips to your ear and murmuring, "I want you. Now."

Ladies - I'd recommend doing that to your boyfriends. Nothing better.

Thanks Earl. Irish accents are great too (I'm half Irish), just nothing too thick I think. That'd go with any accent though; too much can just make it impossible to understand a person.

And nice final though. Jerry Springer would be proud of it. :D

If I had the proper equipment I'd probably do it, but no go. I'm a techno-idiot heh. Besides, my voice is nothing special. Just plain american guy.

I second Joes remark! I would love to do some more audio! :)

In fact I'll record some tonight I think -I don't know what though! *L*

Earl -My husband is very partial to an Irish accent too.

For myself it's the deepness and purriness of a mans voice that matters, not always the accent. I'm not a general fan of brummy ccents but I love the more upper class scouse accent. I ADORE American Accents -so the audio site is heaven for me..all those yummy male American accents *drools*

Razor, we had this discussion with people the first time around.
It takes no 'special' equipment. Just a simple microphone - I bought mine for £6/$10, and simply plugged it into one of the spare ports in my comp. No special software needed, I used a free download......link below:

Handybits free voicemail download

Once you have made your recording, then you have to find someone to host if for you, and simply e-mail it to them.

Or zip it and post it on the thread.

Give it a go, its great fun.

As Mat just said, it's really not difficult and i for one would love to hear that accent ;)

Also if anone wants to record something and needs someone to host it for'em -then drop me a PM :) I don't mind doing it at all! :)
