Well, this thread was kinda inspired by the "To Make yourself Feel Old" thread.

I was amazed at the way so many women aged gracefully, even if the clock ticked away for them.

And it got me thinking about beauty and the beautiful people I have known in life.

Some of these women had nothing more than external beauty that faded with age. Others had internal beauty that only grew with every tick of the clock.

Still others had both, and they don't even realize it. Ya know, the gorgeous woman who cares for her family and every social cause without taking the time to primp and yet is a total knockout.

And THAT got me to thinking about a very dear friend of mine. She is perhaps the most beautiful woman I have ever met. And when I say beautiful...I mean she is GORGEOUS to the eyes AND to the soul. And every year that passes she looks even more amazing and IS more amazing in her efforts for making this world a better place for us all.

But what is so cool is her name...Melody.

She is a like a song to the eyes and to the heart. I have often said that a blind person could envision her just as well a person with sight.

Sometimes names are so accurate.

So whatcha think?

Do you know a Melody?

No, but if I ever have twin girls their names will be Melody and Harmony.

I actually met a Harmony once, but she was only in school for a semester.

I know a woman like that.

Her name's Patti. She's older than me and yet her appearance and demeanour makes her appear so much younger.

And God, she's got a lovely smile.

I knew a woman like that. Hell I talk to her on a near daily basis.

She is a cancer survivor. She has had both Breasts removed as well as a Hysterectomy and a Colostomy. She has undergone radiation as well as Chemo. She is scarred and she is wasted.

Because of her attitude she is one of the sexiest women I know.
