Okay, I'm inspired by the thread on female anatomy. I'd like to know what descriptive words writers on here use to describe a woman's anatomy. What words do women prefer to hear or read?

Alright...over to you!

I like that purple prose that describes 'turgid manhood' and 'heaving bosoms' and such. But I think the best I ever heard was someone describing breasts as: rosebud-tipped scoops of vanilla ecstacy.

To each his own!! :)

How about these??

1. Your tongue is so wonderfully loving as it caresses my cock/clit.
2. I love the feel of your soft hair as I caress your lips with mine.
3. As I pulse against your warm breasts with my dick, I feel my cum rushing up to meet your open lips.

Or other things like that.

You know, I've read stories where the author says, "And then I drank the dew from her lotus flower of love" or "and then he penetrated me with his Herculean spear" and it's like, "Whatever!"

I think these kinds of descriptions just sound sooo... I don't know, corny! When you're really down there about to give head or eat a girl out, I'm sure you're not thinking, "Her lotus flower of love is so beautiful..." or "I can't wait until she envelops my throbbing member in her mouth," you know? I guess they're pretty and poetic and stuff, but they're just not realistic or easily identified with.

To me, the word "pussy" is just fine... along with snatch, crotch, hole, even vagina can be used on occasion.

I liked Indy's "Her wetness"...

Just don't use taco. Ugh.

And one more thing... why in the world do they call it a beaver?

Words for her thing:

So much, I think, depends on context. So far as I am concerned this could be anything between "panting fuckhole" and "the dewy gates of venus."

Rose by any other name is still a rose.

Context is everything.

"My left arm pulled her angelic face to mine; as I drank her heavenly kiss, my right hnd explored her panting fuckhole."

"We had wanted it for so long- we were like animals in heat; I nearly shot off when she spread her legs and I caught a glimpse of the dewy gates of venus."

Now, you tell me..... it's the point I am making.

Metaphorically speaking...

I've been fascinated by some of the responses. I met Isaac Asimov a little over twenty years ago (what can I say...big hero of mine) and I asked him how to become a good writer and he said to "read good writing." I don't think he had erotica in mind, but CD-able and I have a pretty impressive collection of good erotica and I do find it inspirational to read how others do it.

Indy_dark mentioned that "cunt" is a no-no and I'm intrigued by this. It's one of the only words that isn't a metaphor...when you hear cunt its meaning is hard to confuse. I know men often use it in a derogatory way, but that aside it's not medical and it means just what it means.

I took some time to go through several volumes of erotica written by women--some lesbian and some not--and found "cunt" to be one of the more preferred words. Interestingly enough, women often wrote in a more veiled yet just as explicit way which didn't require the use of specific words. I find this exciting, but difficult to master.

Well, just some early morning musings...

In the SRP stories I have been in,I have used the words,Manthing,Manhood, and Womanhood.

I think it helps the story go along a little better.I know I wouldn't want to read "Cunt",or "Pussy",50 times in one story,so I try to mix it up a bit.

So I might say,"I licked her Womanhood, till her juices began to flow.",in one sentence. Then in another part of the story I'll say,"She grabbed my Manhood, and slammed it into her velvet cunt.".

That way your not reading the same discription threw the whole story.

Just my 2¢ worth!

I will offer this...

...of all the books of erotica I have including most of the more popular ones, none use the words womanhood, manhood, et al. The only place I can recall seeing those are cheesy bodice-ribbers, Black Lace one handed novels, and Forum magazine. Perhaps they have a place, but it isn't any of the places I frequent.

Some examples...

"He came with great heaving cries and she came seconds later, her womb and pussy fluttering and convulsing. Rivers of sticky, hot spunk ran down her legs and she fell to the ground, hitting her head softly." (Jane Longaway, Erotoplasmic Orgasmic from Herotica 3)

"I pulled her knickers down, revealing the flattened darker curls surrounding the warm territory of her cunt. Her pungent, released odour wafted towards me, and I immediately became drunk on it." (Maxim Jakubowski, He'll Have to Die from The Mammoth Book of Erotica)

"Elena struggled for compusure, her pink sex wet and gaping through its wreath of brown hair, the long delicate muscles of her thighs twitching." (Anne Rice, Beauty's Release)

Three different ways, all skillfully crafted if you ask me, and no silliness with the language. You might think Anne Rice's is a bit tame, but of the three stories hers is the most extreme. Readers of the Beauty trilogy will probably agree.
