believe it or not - a serious question .....

what's the difference between a G-string and a thong ??

thanks in advance

The g string is smaller I believe, and capable of being used as dental floss in emergencies... The thong is slightly larger and strong enough to stay connected when she farts (most g strings will blow off from a really serious fart) :D

Oh gods! That was seriously funny!!

A g-string is, in fact, smaller than a thong. The strap that goes up the crack of the ass and around the hips are normally skinny elastic bands. The same straps on a thong are thicker and made of the same material as the front piece.

Actually, for me anyway, I find g-strings more comfortable to wear. It feels less "bulky" in my bum. Sometimes when I wear a thong, especially if it isn't the correct size, I feel like I'm walking around with a permanent wedgie. With a g-string, it is like I'm not wearing anything at all.

And, with a g-string, it is easier for my partner to get at the "good stuff!"

Once again Litsters are a fountain of knowledge....I wear them and never knew the difference. Thanks Chele.

When I first saw g-strings I thought "Way cool!", but in retrospect its probably a good thing my wife is into the bikini style pantie rather than a thong/g-string. For one thing I think I would try flossing if she wore one. Besides, the older style pantie is kinda like the gift wrapping on a xmas present. Its all in the packaging. :)

Back when I starting buying girlfriends underwear (in my college days), I often got confused as well. G-Strings. Thongs. I even ran across "Fashion Thongs" which as far as I could tell was a thong that had a triangle of fabric in the back between the lower spine and the but cheeks. I dont' think I've seen the term fashion thong used anymore but now they just call them thongs as well.

I've always understood G-strings to mean just two strings meeting up to a "T" shape. With thong meaning more of a triangular "V" shape with fabric of some sort.

thanks guys,

I can always rely on fellow Litsters ....... you never let me down

Now I wont look like a total Doofus when I go Xmas Shopping

*wink*
