despite not being on the Walmart board or involved in its decision-making, part-heir Christy Walton (worth over $19B since the death of her husband of some 30+ years) has drawn maggat ire after taking out a full-page in the NYT urging people to attend the 'No Kings Day' rallies on June 14th across the country. Walmart had to issue a 'that's her, not ussssssssssss' statement. Hats off to Christy

kari lake saw fit to stir the pot leading to maggats calls to boycott and 'trash' Walmart. The only people I feel sorry for at all in this are the Walmart workers who might see some shit hitting the fan. Will Walmart protect them? Prosecute those who kick off in their stores? not holding my breath.

In a twist to this story, it’s being reported that a black SUV was handing out full face shields (it has a branded name…that I don’t know or care to look up) that are only sold at Walmart. Thereby fanning the flames.

All of this is unconfirmed though…
