What's happened to Afghanistan?

I can't help but think of my poll, "Should we bomb Afghanistan?" OK. That's a bit self-absorbed...oops, wrong thread.

But all military ordinance has a "use by" date. Afghanistan is just a handy place, at the moment, to dump all the stuff that's getting to the end of it's shelf life.

On a serious note, we should hope for the best for the men and women of Afghanistan that have nothing to do with this. Gods have mercy on them.
