From a fellow web designer, and my family owning about 5 domain names, I can tell you, you should worry about everything else first, before a domain. Work on the website, and the idea behind it before you get a web address. My addres is ravin.ca because it's my nickname and .ca because I am Canadian. What I suggest is first define everything on your site, and then you will be able to get a much better name. A name will come outta no where sometimes.

You can register it anymore, you just got to find the right host for it. My hosting company is in Canada (so am I) and my address is under Canadian law. Just find a company in Cananda, UK or anywhere else if you want to do it outside US.
