What's going on?!

Has this happened to anyone else? I logged in the add to one of my stories and found that there are no 'add new thread' buttons on any of my pages, then I look in my 'my stories' section and see my status as writer and not editor! What the ?!

Once

It happened to me one time. I exited, shut down my machine and everything went back to normal when I logged back on. It has not happened since.

I logged in again and sadly there is no change. I hope I don't have to start a whole new story. Why isn't there someone I can contact about this?!

Woah, I figured out the glitch in the system. When I opened my account and started that story I must have used all lower case in my login name, because when I logged in using capitol letters I had access to my account but didn't have editorial access to my stories. When I logged in again in lower case it was all fine. I'm so relieved now.

I had caught this glitch a while back.

I had logged in while at work and had no problems (I had used one of those "Remember Password" services). That had the correct mix of caps and lower case letters in the login. When I had tried to log in at home I had absentmindedly entered alllower case letters. Even though it appeared as if I were in my own site, I didn't have editorial priviledges. After several grueling days I realized what I had been doing wrong, and now log in with the "exact" spelling as it was registered!

Really interesting glitch!

hey, whadda you know i had the same problem too. i thought it was because i formatted my hard drive. i'll go and login with the correct case now. I'm glad somebody started this thread, otherwise i would have just continued not being an editor to my own stories. thnx.
