Oh, it gets worse: When I was the stay-at-home parent, it would not be unusual for me to make homemade cinnamon rolls...once a week....
Tonight's leftovers...wife and I grew up with our families cleaning up the fridge once a week and eating whatever is in there.
oh man, now you're reminding me of my grandma making them... and if there happened to be any leftovers (very rarely) that was made into bread pudding. yum!
we do that too. it kills me to have to throw stuff away, and it's hard to cook for two and make it taste like I think it should when I grew up cooking for a bunch of people on a big farm. we take left overs in our lunches most of the time, but you still have that one day a week when you git whatcha git, and don't pitch a fit.
