We're having pork chops, rice with veggies, parmesan bread sticks, and salad. Chocolate Ice Cream for desert.

The five year old made the bread sticks... they're shaped a little funny, and some of them have A LOT of parmesan on them, others none at all, but she is sooooo proud!

So... in an attempt to avert the troll takeover that's happening... what're y'all eating for dinner tonight?

McTroll burgers...

LOL

Actually, we did McDonald's after spending some time at Wallyworld getting a few essentials.

Ahhh The glamour of being Miss T! :D

Home made taco's with all the fixin's.

Mmm...can I come over?

I was contemplating making some Deerburger Helper, but I'm not sure.

I may not eat dinner. I do that sometimes when I don't know what I want.

I had cereal, that's what happens when I'm all by my lonesome and don't feel like cookin.....

Come on over roxie. I'll cook something and you can run the CD player while I"m doing it.

I'm getting in the mood to cook wth some good tunes in the background. :)

Where's my Super Cook Apron.....:)

Actually, the leg of lamb part, I think I can figure out... what's avyolemono soup?

Its a greek Lemon and Egg rice soup.

Pheonyx- that's what my mom calls the stuff she puts on stuffed zucchini- is it the same thing? If so, it's very yummy.

I'm not eating dinner tonight- I'm not really hungry.

I had microwaved convenience food...flame-broiled turkey breast with mashed potatoes & gravy. I added some Lowry's seasoning salt. Pretty tastey. No vegetables in the house. Road trip tomorrow.

TV dinners..

Mom doesn't feel like eating.. My daughter went to a friends house for dinner. so it's me and my brother.. we decided tv dinners were the easiest.. ;)

I cook and he does dishes usually.. this is our night off.. :D

Sounds like a plan to me! I'll even bring the wine!

But whatcha gonna wear under the apron?

Hmmmmmmmm dinner!

Well, I've starved all day so that I can chow down on roast beef, weeny dumplings, lots of gravy, roast potatoes, baby carrots and peas...and whatever else I can stuff down my gullet. :D

Pudding? Haven't decided...but I'm in the mood to make my self saucing chocolate pudding...hmmmmm - BTW, there is no connection in the self saucing...it's the pudding that swims about in chocolate - not me. :(

Supper - Ahhhh

Just finished...

Sauteed meatballs w/ onion. 'shrooms and green pepper

Steamed beets au beurre

A killer salad - Euro. greens toasted walnuts, lychees, dried cranberries, blue cheese... My hostess did that - not me!

Some Argentinian Merlot...

I'm stuffed - and pooped!

This cookin' fer my board is getting too much like work:D

recipe? sounds yummy.
Avgolemono

8 c Chicken broth 4 Eggs, separated
1 c Uncooked rice 4 tb Lemon juice

Make chicken broth and heat to boiling; add rice. Simmer covered about 20 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside. In a bowl, beat egg whites until stiff; add yolks and beat well. Beat continuously adding lemon juice a little at a time. Then add about 1/5 of the broth, beating continuously. Pour this mixture back into the pot of broth and rice. Mix well over heat but, to avoid curdling, do not allow soup to come to a boil. Serve immediately.
