What's Cookin'?

Grew up in Maine and spending the Christmas holiday there. I highly recommend a visit. (WARNING: Can be addictive)
I think I heard Whole Foods is not selling Maine lobster because of a whale. I’m not sure of the details. I’ll check if Goldbelly sells Maine lobster, but once I win the lotto, I’ll go for a visit.

I checked Goldbelly, they have Maine lobster. When you win the lotto, I can hook you up with the good spots to go :)

Used up the last of the leftover turkey, some jasmine rice leftover from two nights ago, added some celery, carrots, onion, green beans, corn and chicken broth, some seasoning and Voila! Turkey & rice soup was made.

Tonight we had chicken potato "nachos" So yum. Thinly sliced potatoes tossed in a lil olive oil, seasoned and baked until just crispy. Topped with shredded chicken (crockpots rock), black beans, corn, avocado, tomato, jalapeno, green onion, shredded cheese and sour cream. Super yum.

sounds tasty, how do you cook em?
Quarter the potatoes Oven 350 covered with tin foil for 2 hours, remove foil broil for 4-8 mns to desired level of crispness. They will burn though in broiler if not paid attention to. I am on the road til Monday. Can send you recipe upon return to home.

Ribeye's on my smoker, baked potatoes with sour cream and chives with asparagus with lemon and parmesan cheese. Chased by a rye old fashioned.
