As if the staggering incompetence of the con artist weren't enough, his picks to fill vacancies on the federal courts are ready to outdo him.
The most recent appointee, Matthew Spencer Petersen, was under the microscope when he testified before the committee who would approve his appointment. When asked when was the last time he had read the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure -- he said he couldn't remember. When asked how many cases he had performed depositions on he answered less than five.
Not five thousand. Not five hundred. Five. As in the number of fingers on a person's hand.
Currently Petersen is a commissioner with the FEC and was rated "not qualified" by the American Bar Association. Despite his lack of basic knowledge of law and legal procedures, despite his lack of experience in preparing for and arguing cases, despite his lack of experience in litigation in general, something he would have to do if confirmed, the con artist had no problem recommending him to fill a judicial vacancy.
But then, why should anyone be surprised? It's not like the con artist has brought anything to the office of the President other than chaos and corruption.
