What's a smoking fetish?

Does anyone know anything about smoking fetish? Do you know that most men find women sexy when they smoke? (Why do you think Hollywood continues to phychologically tease you by having their actresses smoking?) Do you know that more than half of all men who find women sexy when smoking, are so obsessed by this that they've developed a "smoking fetish"? Some aren't even aware of the power of their fetish, or are in denial.
A story that plays on this theme would be very welcome reading to a lot of men. Most smoking fetishist are aware of the health risks women take if they choose to smoke for many years. That is why they will tell you themselves that they do not advocate anyone start smoking. Especially just to look sexy. But rather, they would like to see sexy women who have already chose for themselves to continue smoking. The sexuality of the experienced smoker is desired.

Forgive me if this comes of derogatory, as I have nothing against you. But with my knowledge of fetishists, it seems that many of them seem to believe that anybody or a large number of people who do not follow the fetish the fetishist follows must be in denial. Now, if women smoking turns you on, then that's cool and I have no problem with it. But to suggest that people who are not as obsessed with it as you may be are in some kind of denial is ludicrous. It seems insecure to me that you need to support your fetish by making it seem normal by saying such things. Whether or not your fetish is normal (if anything can be truly defined as such) is not an issue; if it makes you feel good and hurts no one (well it does hurt someone, but not against their will) then it's acceptable. But do not try to tell other people that they are in denial, because they don't think like you.

But on the subject of the story (which is what the post was about, sorry for hijacking it), I'm sure if written well it would work great. Stories with people becoming aware of their attraction to a fetish are very interesting, if done well.

I'm curious. What is that you find sexy about women who smoke? What do they smoke, cigs, cigar? . . .

I can only speak for myself, and my observations of others. First for myself, I get aroused when I see a topless or naked woman smoking a cigarette. The more attractive the woman, the more I get aroused. I am usually annoyed by cigarette smoke, but I'm not nearly as annoyed by a woman smoking.

In my favorite smoking fantasy, I'm naked and tied to a chair or a bed. A woman comes to me, smoking. She allows me to kiss her and suck on her nipples, but she blows cigarette smoke in my face the whole time. I can't stop her because I'm bound. The annoyance at the cigarette smoke is the "price" I pay to kiss or suck on the nipples of a beautiful woman.

Second, as far as others, there's a newsgroup, alt.sex.fetish.smoking, where various people post pictures of women smoking. Some post glamour pictures, where the woman is dressed up and smoking a cigarette, sometimes in a cigarette holder. Some post dominatrix pictures where the dominatrix is smoking a cigarette or a cigar. Some post smoking advertisements from magazines. Some post pictures of women smoking large cigars. Some post candid pictures of ordinary women on the beach or at parties smoking. Some post pictures of women taken during a photo session in which smoking is the theme of the photo session.

I guess the answer to your question is: It depends on who you're asking.

I can see the attraction

of watching a woman smoke. I myself am a smoker, and have a large collection of vintage cigarette holders and cases. I love to go out and make coy eye contact whilst taking a long draw from an elegent gold holder. Perhaps I have the compliment fetish to yours?

Not to my particular fetish, no. But I'm sure you arouse passions in lots of men that you come across in New York.

<blush>

I do try...

And if nothing else, you gave me a great idea for a story, esp. considering the anti-smoking brigade that has conquered
the States!

Thanks!

I look forward to being a contributing member of Literotica. I think this is my Promised Land!

bad habit, but...

I too have a serious thing for women who smoke. Why does it turn me on? I guess there's the Freudian oral fixation part of it, seeing a woman putting the cigarette to her mouth, her lips closing on it, sucking on it...not too subtle.

There's also the fact that smoking is somewhat taboo (whatever the tobacco companies say). A girl who smokes is a bad girl, naughty, she does things she's not supposed to. I know, I'm a pretty poor amateur psychologist, but I'm trying to help folks understand.

For me there's also the fact that two of the women I most lusted for when I started noticing things like tits on a woman smoked. One was the mother of a friend of mine who I still dream about. The other was my 5th grade teacher. I walked into the teacher's lounge once to give her a message from another teacher and there she was, smoking a cigarette. It was so shocking to see my prim and proper (and very attractive) teacher smoking that I think it scarred me for life (but in a good way). Hard to believe that there was time when a grammer school teacher could smoke in school...

I'm working on a story involving smoking that is actually based on an experience I had. The story involves some hot and satisfying sex--the real-life incident, alas, did not. Stupid reality!

I used to smoke, and I loved it and still have the urge to light up from time to time. It may be that the smoke creates an illusion or mystery surrounding the smoker. One of the things I realized when I quit was that the actual smoke created a form of protective wall between myself and whatever. I felt vulnerable when I quit. Just a personal note here--Softshoulder

I also think that smoking is a way to avoid emotional intimacy with someone, esp if the person you're with isn't a smoker.

New story

For those of you who find smoking women sexy, I've just posted a story called "The Sexy Smoking Stripper" you might like. As I said in a previous post, this story is based on an experience I actually had, minus the sex. Isn't that true about so much of life? It's just like what you see in the movies--except there's no sex. Stupid reality!

Here's the link to the story. Enjoy!
