Whats a relationship without kissing?

This is something I've been thinking about for a while now. Until last October I was seeing a girl and while we were intimate, there was no or very little kissing. At the time I didn't really think about it but recently I have started seeing this amazing guy and we get on great, we're very close and spend a lot of time kissing and hugging. So what is a relationship without kissing? I'm not asking this in a silly way but why do some people feel like they can express their love in this intimate act whiles others can't? Just something that interests me

I'm not sure myself, but maybe some people feel it's too intimate for their liking? Or some people don't like kissing at all? I know I don't like kissing my boyfriend when he has bad breath, but I usually suck it up and do it because I feel it's probably one of the most intimate things we can do, more so than any other sexual act.

I have been in relations with men without kissing. It just felt odd. The thing is in my current relation we kiss alot. I get a hrder boner from just kissing then all the other sexual acts. I find this interesting. I wish i kissed guys sooner.

I think there are some people that are just not the kissy-touchy type.
It really bothers me when you're with someone and you go through just about every sexual act in the Kama Sutra yet they won't kiss. They push you away. It's almost like rejection. Maybe it's just me, but that's how I feel. I end up walking away feeling hurt and dejected. Is there a way of letting that person know this without risking losing them altogether?

Thats exactly what I meant. I was going out with a girl for 6 months, we did a lot and yet that one thing she seemed to hate. Its strange some people like kissing and others don't, and I always made sure I had fresh breath.

I dunno. I love kissing, but, interestingly enough, it is a learned sociatal behaviour. When westerners first encountered the Chinese, the Chinese were sickened to see us touching lips to each other. In their culture, it was just something that had never come about.

Unfortunately most girls aren't into the huggy-kissy-cuddly mooshy stuff. It's frustrating, I know.

If I was in a relationship with no kissing, then something would definitely not be going well. To me, kissing is the most intimate thing two people can do together.

That and the buttsex.

Which is more important, kissing or buttsex? It's one of life's great mysteries.

Rimming. The best of both worlds.

~sigh~
I wouldn't know. My last girlfriend disliked anything anal with a passion.

That's too bad. I hear with a passion is the best way to do anything anal.

I went out with a chinese girl last year and all she did was want to kiss, like saturation kissing till the point even I was starting tothink hey, need some air here. Is this western influence? or just someone really passionate?

I'm talking about thousands of years ago. So far as I know, the Chinese are all down with kissing now.:p

To me, it would be kissing. There's something about a kiss that's difficult to achieve any other way. Kissing is the most intimate thing two people can do together, IMO. You're sharing breath with that person. You're face to face with that person. The eye to eye contact itself can generate so many intense feelings. A kiss can be so much more than something physical.

It can make buttsex afterwards that much more intense. *nods*

You just reminded me of one of the most erotic experiances of my life. Smoking pot with a girl and kissing, exchanging smoke with her. That was... wow.

I don't know, that does seem very odd to me in an intimate relationship. At least in Western society, I suppose. That sort of thing happens with prostitutes I suppose, but I find it very odd. I don't know...

This is true. The Chinese also considered breasts mostly non-erotic (they found licking and sucking on nipples to be infant-like for instance).

Very well put. :)

I'm not much for the pot smoking, but I can definitely see how you would find that erotic.
