Anybody watch soap operas? I've been hooked on ABC soaps since I was little. Luckily I get them at night on Soap Net. General Hospital is getting good, there is an awesome "love hexagon" that is about to explode.

Sonny is married to Carly but Brenda came back to life after 4 years to see him.

Sonny knows Brenda's alive but Brenda thought she saw Sonny get shot and killed this week.

However, it was staged because Brenda's evil boyfriend, Alcazar, wanted Sonny dead.

Carly knows that Sonny is alive but she doesn't know that Brenda is.

Jax was Brenda's fiance at the time she disappeared and Jax and Sonny just happen to be bitter enemies. However, Alcazar also wants Jax dead.

Jax recently got re-engaged with Skye Chandler Quartermaine.

Jax used to be married to Alexis who happens to be pregnant with Sonny's child but Sonny doesn't know it is his.

How is it going to turn out? Sonny and Brenda. Sonny and Carly. Jax and Brenda. Jax and Skye. Alexis and Sonny or Jax. I think we will just have to stay glued to the tube to figure this one out.

I dont watch them myself, but for some reason, they decided to send me a free Soap Opera Digest every week. ;)

There's enough people in my r/l that think they are in a soap opera, so watching anymore would be overload. I will admit to watching General Hospital many years back...maybe the early to mid 80's.

Thanks O. These shows are fun, hopefully nothing like this happens in real life. The characters seem to get past things awful quickly, I'm sure they have a lot of sex in the off camera time so that probably makes life easier, plus they're all rich. So, maybe I could stand for a little more drama.

What's the point in watching soaps. To me a story needs a begginning, middle, & end. And, since you will most likely never know the begginning or end of a soap, it's pointless to me. Although, when they have sex, well...that's different.
