BUT...........there's always a but lol

there is one woman who i work with that is the most negative person i know...never smiles, never says anything nice about anything or anyone.

I would say to her "What the hell is wrong with you? You wonder why nobody helps you? You wonder why everyone is getting patted on the back except you? Pitch in a little--be a team player and quit complaining!!!!"

Case in point: a year ago a big corporation took over our company from a small, one man, family run situation. The new corporation had policies for holidays depending on how long you had worked there. Overnight, the number of weeks of holidays I received doubled. She was mad and complained. Everybody else in the office was like: "Way to go, that's awesome, you get more holidays." She was mad. I still can't get over it.

No, you missed the point. She wasn't angry that I have more holidays: she actually gets way more time than me because of her length of service and she also gets every Friday afternoon off.

She was angry that I received more time right away under the new owners. While she had to wait a lot longer working for the old owner to get extra holidays.

oh ok. sorry i feel like an ass now. and yes, my co-worker is the same way....being bitter for someone's fortune. i was accused of 'stealing' someone's job away from them. gee, could it be because i am better at it? i'm certainly not sleeping with anyone or kissing up.
