What You Don't Know....Chain Story

Anyone interested in a chain story with the idea that, contrary to that silly saying, what you don't know WILL hurt you? Just a thought.

My thought was to start it out with a piece about a girl who keeps repeating that line and living by it until she gets into a situation where it comes back to bite her in the ass. Not sure how it will work out that way, but I want her to have a rude awakening. Probably involving a stranger that she doesn't remember, but was actually a classmate from junior high. She is in her 20s now, and she doesn't know that he has a vendetta against her entire family. One by one, he is setting them up for some revenge. They are all grown up now, so he has no compunctions about taking vengeance. Too late she realizes that ignorance is not bliss and what she doesn't know can hurt her. She has lived by a false proverb and it costs her much.

Any other ideas or interest?

I'm not sure how you were thinking of revenge, but a slight change to what you have listed to follow, plus the revenge and story line thought.

Perhaps instead of she slept with him, instead she doesn't sleep with him, burned him off really mean. Like for instance she made fun of his glasses, or height or because he's a bean pole, something like that. Then years later, she runs into him again, well rather he's been keeping track of her, or searched for her after weightlifting and so forth. She drools over him and asks him out, introduces him to her family, all the time he was just trying to find her family to get his revenge on her.

Now instead of violence or anything, he seduces her family, with wine, drugs or blackmail of a sort. What I mean is he gets her mom drunk has his way with her, all the while videotaping it, he then goes to her dad, gives him a glass of wine and a little something else, puts the tape of him and her mom on the tv and does her father while he watches and then tells her what he has done, and/or showing her the video.

Of course at this point you can turn it two different ways, one way, she and her family loved it and wish him to stay and do all of them, or they get divorced and blame her.

Interesting thoughts. Yeah, I didn't want her to have slept with him. After all, they were both under the Lit age for sex when they first knew each other. Instead, she kind of pissed him off some other way. I'm basing it partially on a junior high classmate of mine, you see, the younger sister of my first girlfriend (a two-timing bitch, if there ever was one). Her name is Michelle. She had that annoying saying, and I wanted to write a story where that smug, stupid remark came back to haunt her.

The only sex that happens does so years later, when he proceeds to literally screw her and her family. But I'm not sure how I will pull it off. And other chapters don't have to be about those two, though it wouldn't hurt. The theme of the chain story would just be that the saying is nonsense and those who live by it are asking for trouble.

I think the first few chapters should be about this one, simply because to do it right you either have to do a few chapters or a pretty long chapter, which leads to other problems. I finished a really long one last week and it's still being edited.

Though I suppose doesn't help that the story is tons of sex, she told me she keeps getting distracted reading it.
