what would you do if you mother was on social sucrity and trys to controll your every move ...plus on top of that you pay her bills on her house why she lives some where else what would you do because this has been on my mind for awhile...Plus the phone and bills are behind and they are all in her name and she still expects you to pay for them...what would you do??

Tough love to a point but do try talking to her about it and tell her your concerns that might help her understand some.

It sounds like there are two issues: finances and her desire to control you.

Financially, can you put her on a budget? Tell her you only have X amount to help her out with every month and work with her to find a way to cut expenses or increase her income?

The control issue is another matter. I don't know your age or other circumstances, but I would figure out how much control I am willing to give up and talk to Mom....see if I could find a reason for her desire to interfere with my life. Whatever, I would try addressing it directly with her, but if that didn't work, I would have to set limits (tough love).

Good luck...it is very difficult and frustrating when the child has to change roles with the parent.
