Other than buying a house, a car, paying off credit cards, and dumping your spouse without telling him or her than you won (lol), what would you do if you won Powerball?

"Honey?" Tina looked at her husband with hope. "Did we win anything in Powerball?"

"Nah, just a fee ticket. I'm going to go cash it in now. Bye," said Norman.

Three years later, with Normal living the high life of a king in the Caribbean and surrounded by beautiful women, suspecting foul play, Tina has her husband declared dead and marries Rudolpho, the cabana boy.

So...what would you do if you won Powerball?

I'd be a little suspicious as I don't play any lotteries.

If I won, the first thing that I'd do, after collecting my money, is to sue the lottery for false advertising.

No other business would get away with hawking a prize of $900 million when that's really not the prize. If you take the one time payout, after taxes, you're lucking to get half that, probably less.

Instead of giving giant jackpots, they should it easier to win money. The way it is now, if you get the bonus ball, a 32 to 1 odds, you receive $4. Let's make that $10.

If you get the bonus ball and 1 other number a 92 to 1 odds, you receive $4. Let's make that $25.

If you get 2 numbers and the bonus ball, a 700 to 1 odds, you receive $7. Let's make that $100.

If you get 3 numbers, a 580 to 1 odds, you receive $7. Let's make that $100.

If you get 3 numbers and the bonus ball, a 14,842 to 1 odds, you receive $100. Let's make that $1,000.

If you get 4 numbers, a 36,525 to 1 odds, you receive $100. Let's make that $2,500.

The three top tier prizes are fine at $50,000, $1,000,000, and the jackpot are find but the lower tier prizes is skewed to make the only winners the lottery commission and the state.

Further, no state taxes should be collected on lottery prizes. Some states already have that in place.

Seemingly, the way that the lottery is skewed now, playing the lottery is a scam and a sucker bet.

I can't believe no one won. Oh, my God.

Where are the 100 people who work for a company and who pooled their money together?

Wow! They said that jackpot could be as much as 1.5 billion.

Whoever won could help a lot of people with that money. Forget about these giant corporations that are administrative heavy with big salaries and perks, I'd help the real people. I'd give my money to grassroots neighborhood organizations that try and make a real difference but who have no federal funding.

I'd give money to animal shelter, homeless shelters, and battery women shelters. I'd try to make a real difference in someone's life.

I'd pay for someone to go to college for free. I'd pay for someone to have an operation they couldn't otherwise afford. I'd pay for someone to have teeth that they'd normally have to do with out. If I won, I'd spend the money as if I was a fairy Godmother.

Which is why it's so clearly and obviously crooked - as there never are any Fairy Godmothers except everybody WOULD be one, if they won. But there aren't any, so no one ever wins. No one real, that is.

I won smaller amounts twice since 1987. $5000 and $1000.

But I'm such a simpleton money means little to me.

My sister in law got a million after some illegals ran over her husband. The money lasted 5 years and then she was poor again. The fool bought horses. Lotsa horses.

That was my first thought as well.

While I might imagine getting a bunch of money dumped into my lap (that I would share with Uncle Sam,) I think of the lottos as a tax on the mathematically challenged, with a very very few and random refunds.
