They'll do as they always do which is sit back and let others fight it out so they can profit while on sidelines not like they had military alliance etc...
The PRC has not actively involved itself in other countries' wars since the Vietnam War ended.

Just because they are more or less allied with Iran -- have been giving them some help, up to now.

Still not enough to make it worth it for China to go to war over...Closing the Strait of Hormuz affects China more than anybody else, oilwise.
