I started reading a very exciting story in several parts, but before I had a chance to finish it, I lost it. Could anyone perhaps recognize it from this description and help me out? I can't seem to find it throught he Search function.

It's about two guys. (Yes, a gay male story.) One of them is a sheriff or a policeman or something. The other one... can't really remember what he did for a living. I think he had just become an orphan. He liked to go out dancing at this club, and the sheriff would stand and stare at him, drooling discretely. They took a bath together in a pool outdoors in one of the episodes, in another there was a barbecue with very intense emotions going on. And the nerve of the story is that there's a serial killer on the loose.

What was the name of that story? Anyone? Please?

It sounds like that long series by Wavyscribe--one of the guys was the sheriff, the other one was a doctor. Could that be it?
