Just as it say's on the tin. What was the last movie you saw and what did you think of it?

The Magdalene Sisters, by Peter Mullan. About laundries run by nuns in Ireland and staffed by "fallen women" who were used as slave-labour. Women who had children out of wedlock, or were raped, or were considered just "too pretty" and bound for trouble. It was disgusting and disturbing and all too horribly true. Excellently done, not at all sensational; it's power came from the matter-of-factness of it all.

Serenity. Ruined me for all other movies. I'm destitute and should die now.

Corpse Bride ~ I liked it!

A must see if you are a Nightmare Before Christmas fan....I think it tops that one!!!

The Longest Yard...Adam Sandler and Burt Reynolds.

it's the remake of the original Burt Reynolds movie. I normally do not like remakes and avoid them. But my date wanted to see it so I conceded... and am glad I did. It's one remake that was worth seeing ;)

At the Theater: 40-year-old virgin

At home: Crash (wonderful movie!)

A History of Violence

Could've been a great movie....but unfortunately it was done very poorly and really sucked.

Todo Sobre Mi Madre.
Cried all the way through. Damn good film.

and your "review"?

I thought it was a funny movie...Tommy Lee Jones was great in it and he made the movie...I suggest a must rent if you have not seen it..

Actually hadn't even heard of it. (I have GOT to get out more! LOL). Tommy Lee Jones is one of my favorites...incredible actor. The story looks kinda funny....just might have to check that out. Thanks!
