I really don't do foo foo movies well .. I like action and horror.. But then I'm just weird..

What type of movie person are you?

Any and all kinds of movies. I never refuse to see a movie based on content. Even if it's not my favorite subject matter.

Movie-Type?

I'm the "Dances with wolves"-Type
Plus a little bit of "Star Wars" and "Star Treck"

Jeez, come to think of it - what a mixture...

I like a wide variety of movies. But my favorites would be Action Adventure and Comedies.

I love film noire. Comedies and historical drama's done well and accurately. Glory was a great example.

anything that can get my mind moveing..

so action, romance, comedy, mystory.... I don't like horror though.

For me a movie has to have a significant plot, be well directed and good acting. I think "Spy Games" is an excellent movie although it is very predictable. Believe it or not, I even like the Harry Potter movie. Great photography.

I love movies in general. Action, comedy, romance, historic, foreign, independent, animated, 3d animated....whatever. I just love movies. Anything from Toy Story to Schindlers List (although I had to work up to Schindlers).

I have a tv/vcr combo at work so I listen to movies like most people listen to the radio, all day.

Nic,

I must admit I am a sucker for a good love story...........

My favourite movies in order....

1. Apocolypse Now
2. Dead Poets Society
3. Seven
4. City Of Angels
5. When A Man Loves A Woman
6. Full Metal Jacket

Hmmmmm reading these and wondering what the heck it means lol..............

i love a good comedy, action films, sci-fi, and horrors.

just about anything that moves

new or old, b&w or colour, merchant/ivory to james cameron, beat takai or akira kurosawa, german expressionist or disney. Just finished seeing Apocalypse Now Redux on video and Harry Potter at the cinema.
which doesn't mean that i like everything--i'm just willing to see it all, and don't exclude a film because "it's not my type."
(sort of like women, actually)

I enjoy all types of movies & that in it self gets me in trouble because at times the movies suck so bad ... but yet I was all jazzed about going to go see it - in the first place. :)

I'm a movie addict. I watch anything and everything, which works well for my casual job of reviewing DVDs. It's a tough job having to watch all those free DVDs, but someones gotta do it.

Favourite movies...

1. Braveheart
2. Forrest Gump
3. Stuart Little
4. Saving Private ryan
5. Dogma
6. Ben Hur
7. Animal House
8. Sleepless in Seattle
9. The Life of Brian
10. Platoon

I like any movie that was written with the intent to say something, to make you feel something, whether it's to make you laugh, or to make you sad, or to make you think. I don't like movies that are written, produced, and released entirely with the idea of how much money will be made off of it.

Some of my favorites:
1. The Matrix
2. Braveheart
3. The Crow
4. Schindler's List
5. Monty Python and The Holy Grail
6. Glory
7. Ladyhawke
8. The Star Wars movies
9. The Evil Dead/Army of Darkness Trilogy
10. Strange Days

Moves or movies? Huge difference, and it's amazing what an "i" can do to a sentence.

I hate moves. There's too much packing and it takes forever to unpack all the boxes. And you always lose stuff.

Movies, though. I like comedies mostly. As long as it's not too utterly stupid. Like Dumb and Dumber.

I dunno.. maybe it's just my taste, but has anyone noticed that most of the "teen" movies coming out these days just SUCK?!?

The eighties teen movies rocked... like the old standby, the Breakfast Club..

But now, these days, we've got things like American Pie 2, and Bring it on, and Freddy Got Fingered, and Road Trip...

Most of these movies make me want to go on a rampage in Hollywood.......

It's a fine line between The Big Lebowski or Pillow Talk with Doris Day and Rock Hudson

My fav type of movies are horror by far. Though I also enjoy a wide range of movies from any genre.
A few of my fav movies would be.....

In the Mouth of Madness
The Matrix
A Christmas Story
Flatliners
The Cell
Lord of Illusions
Pitch Black
Killer Klowns from Outer Space
Full Metal Jacket
It

Just to name a few:)

I don't have a specific genre that's my type...the thing all the movies I love have in common is a well written script. Even if the plot and actors are good, a movie still needs good dialogue. The only thing I really don't like is horror.

I love movies of all kinds.

1. Dogma
2. Indiscreet
3. The Women
4. X Men
5. Young Frankenstein
6. Ladyhawke
7. Vampire Hunter D
8. The Hobbit
9. Monty Python and the Holy Grail
10. The Rock
11. The Matrix
12. Interveiw with the Vampire
