What threads do you "subscribe" to?

I just found out you can do this. You can, in effect, bookmark a thread by choosing "subscribe" at the bottom of this page. Then you can always find the thread you subscribe to by opening your Control Panel.

Do you subscribe to all your own threads? Or just a couple of funny/fascinating ones? Or none at all because you just can't stand commitment, and you think the thread will get pissed at you for not checking in when you're out late?

As few as possible, because I get an email everytime someone posts, and I am subscribed to posts I reply to. Yes, I could change that option, but I'm still undecided if I like it or not.

You can also enable an electrical shock that's sent through DSL lines whenever you send a PM to people you hate.

It's new.

I tried that, but accidentally put myself in the list. Everytime someone tried to PM me, I'd get a little burn right around my middle.

none, I tried to disable the email but it never listens, so I get inundated.

I just said fuck it and do a search if I end up caring to follow something.

NOT if you subscribe to a thread. That is an automatic feature of subscribing.

You could be right. But I just checked my e-mail and I haven't got anything. I have evertying in my Control Panel / Edit Options section under Messages and Notifications turned to "No" (except Private Messaging). Hmm. Maybe it takes an hour or two. I'll check later. If I get an e-mail, I'll unsubscribe.

Man...I subscribe to a lot.

The e-mails sometimes bug me, but mostly they're a good thing.

Though if they ever get too annoying, I'll just turn them off. :D

I have my email option dismembered...and I never subscribe to threads......yet I AM subscribed and receive email notifications for the Blurt it Out thread, the Lit Dedication thread, and a couple of other big ones. I get something like 100 emails perday. But they are never from actual people..grrrrr

Would you guys kindly stop posting on those threads? My delete finger is wearing out.

None.

Its the email thing as well. When I first got here I suscribed to one, don't remember which and my box was FLOODED! You get an email everytime there is a new reply. Not a good thing! :)

I don't :)

I want that

I subscribe to all of them.

It helps when you have your own server and no limits on the email size. ;)

I defaulted to automatically subscribe to every thread I post in. I just setup my email to trash anything that comes in with "Reply to Post" in the header.

If I loose interest in the thread later I just unsubscribe...

I've known about it, but never done it.

Same as everyone else....

My inbox is tidy and I like it that way.
