I had a female roomate that had these great hose. I used to borrow them and wear them to work, or just get off in them. She didn't mind, as long asI washed them after. I wish I knew the brand, as they were just the best. Soft, yet confining in all the right places.

Try the Neon 40 Glossy Tights. Fantastic. However, at $40 a pair, you want to wear hosiery gloves when handling. Don't ever touch with your skin - wear latex gloves to wash, cotton or silk gloves to put on/off.

I always wear pantyhose or tights when exercising (I'm male) and for that, I find the best to be JC Peneey Fitness Tights, available on their web site but in only a few stores. These look great, are extremely durable, provide great support, but run a bit small.

Ultra Sheer Stockings

For special occasions I wear Imported Italian Schiapirelli 9 denier nylon stockings but at $30.00 a pair they are ONLY for very special occassions and being 9 denier you only have to look at them the wrong way and they ladder . Sadly not made anymore but a local Australian hosiery company called Leon Worth used to make 9 denier stockings called Clears and in flesh they were virtually invisible until you got up real close .
