I've been trying for 20 minutes to access Lit, and just now got here. It crapped out on me this morning. 45 minutes to read 3 threads. I gave up. Never did make it to page 2 this morning.

This really sucks.

You're probably having routing delays from your location to the Lit Servers, but the problem doesn't appear to be Lit itself.

The guy who translates all that German into Californian for the servers forgot his coffee today. Things are a bit slow for the German wavefront.

I'm told that Laurel and Manu were once again on top of the servers doing the funky humpy and that distracted him even more.

Luckily for those in Spanish speaking countries, the lady who translates all that Espanol is both blind and anti-caffiene. You shouldn't notice any differentiation in server speed unless the German translator gets too wild and tries to boff her again and then throws them both out of kilter. If she beats the crap out of him, then it's going to take a few weeks. If she lays him, then you can give him ten minutes. He's a premature ejaculator.
