How does my brain work? This made me think of using a completely out of context movie quote to make an awful joke.

To whit:

If anybody ever figures out where I went awry in life, I suspect it will have to do with whatever crossed wires lead to bad puns and the above.

I took care of my mom for her last 13 years, just to have some of her last words to me " you were never a good son"
It takes a lot out of you, but you know they'll be better with you taking care of them.

My mom has stage 2 colorectal cancer. She’s not even the one that gives me trouble lol. My dad has some neurological issues including the very beginning of dementia. That can be so difficult.

I just don’t want to see my mom suffer.
