What the hell…Chilly’s little spot on lit

I have made a grave mistake. It’s been a rough week. I tested positive for Covid 1/1 and so did my parents. Then my mom had a small stroke on 1/2, no lasting damage thank goodness! I feel like crap, I’m exhausted and achy and when I’m sick like that I get weepy.

So I’m weepy and watching Grey’s Anatomy…lol why?!

And all these episodes with men declaring their undying love, a man refusing to let go of his dead wife…and I’m laying here wondering when will I find my person who refuses to let me go? Time to switch shows!

From the day you are born
to the day they drive you away in a hearse
Things are never so bad they can't be worse.

That said, I'm damn glad to read you're doing a lot better now, Chilly.

And your mom. Hugs for both of you.

You know when you think you know someone but it turns out you don’t know them at all? When they make you all sorts of promises but then they ghost you and make a whole new Skype account? Lol lord the lengths people go to to show what an ass they really are!
Definitely felt the "you think you know someone" sting lately. I wish it had been a Skype thing😐

I feel you! Is there something in the Lit algorithm? Is it a full moon? Whats going on that so many of us are dealing with betrayal trauma right now?

It wasn't on Lit, it was someone I thought I had grown really close to earlier this year. There was a disagreement and she switched us off like it was nothing to her. No idea what was real. She's acting friendly again but as far as I know, that's not what I am to her. Even my wife is surprised as they got along really well too.

Whatever. I learned a long time ago not to chase people that walk away. Doesn't mean I won't shake my head after her.

Nice color, and great legs!

Sorry that you have to bump into the lower sorts of my gender all the time. :(
I truly wish you'll find someone that is true to you and love you for who you are! You deserve that like everybody else.

Never ever ever chase anyone! It's just an ego boost for them...

Anyone hear about this men as bread theory? A group of women started it as a laugh but it makes some sense.
Bagel— he’s perfectly fine…but there’s just something missing
Wonderbread— the guy next door, the All American guy, he’s all around good
Sourdough— an acquired taste and if you like him you’re obsessed with him
Gluten Free Bread— this guy is up early doing 5ks and making his own green juices
Hawaiian Rolls— everyone likes him and he can fit in anywhere, the golden retriever of bread
Baguette— he’s the fuck boy
Stale bread— you gave him a chance but there’s just nothing special, he’s just meh
Moldy bread— you just want to find the good in him but he’ll always make you sick
Buttered toast— the goal, your perfect mate

Has anyone found their buttered toast?
