No, actually, there have been others. DCL tends to stand up against the trolls and take the hits himself if he can. He did that once for me with Woodyviagra, and I've never forgotten him for it. Much like a few people are standing up to my named troll now. I don't forget acts of kindness.

But, in the case of the post about DCL, I would guess that the post was made by an active member posing as a troll. That thread where DCL said he was going to Orlando for Christmas probably wasn't noticed by that many people in the first place. The troll saw it.

Let's get this straight once and for all. Trolls are real people, mostly regular board members whose posts go unnoticed. Why would a "troll" remember a post by Dixon and use him as a target? Why not me or PC or Rick or anyone else?

Because this troll is SIN. and he absolutely hates Dixon. He hates him enough to publicly slander him over the objections of the website owners, why wouldn't he wish him dead in jest (not remotely funny)?

Random trolls don't do research to be mean. They try to hijack threads or hurt someone for some past perceived injustice. This is SIN. pure and simple. Just because you and he have some connection, don't pretend it's not. This is probably the result of some bender gone awry and he himself doesn't even remember posting it everywhere.
